This Pet ER Book is for You!
Pet E. R. Guide is a book you need to have with you for 24 hour veterinary clinics and after-hour veterinary facilities across the country. There are over 700 emergency veterinary facilities in this book where you can walk in after hours to get help for your dog, cat, ferret, rabbit, and other various pets. As others have said, it is a book you want to buy and a book you don't want to use.
Among the contents:
* Facility Name, Address, City, State, Phone, Fax, Hours of Operation, and Website Address
* With permission from the ASPCA, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, there is also information on the Ten Most Common Poisonous Plants; Toxic and Non-Toxic Plant Lists; and A Way to Keep a Poison Safe Home.
The contact number is also included for direct guidance in an emergency.
* There is also a chapter on Veterinary Teaching Hospitals in Pet ER Guide and their locations, including routine and emergency information. If you travel with a pet with special needs, this may be a section for you and your pet.
* Considering we never know when we might be evacuated due to Mother Nature (or some other reason), we also have a section on emergency evacuation planning, along with a pet travel checklist.
While we hope you never have reason to use this book, we do hope it may provide some comfort if you ever feel the need to refer to it.
